Development sites in Hereford – An opportunity

Herefordshire Council are currently consulting on the Hereford Area Plan. They are currently undertaking a “Call for Sites” and are seeking to identify sites for housing over the period to 2031. The Council are keen for more brownfield sites, however all submissions are welcome. This is a real opportunity for landowners to help with housing delivery. If your site has potential for development then the deadline for submission is 8th October 2018.

How we help landowners and developers

Plainview Planning specialise in promoting land into Local and Development plans. We can assist our developer clients in a number of ways such as undertaking detailed site assessments through to Local Plan representations and lodging a planning application if appropriate.

As a team, we have been keeping a close eye on developments in Hereford and are well positioned to actively promote your site for inclusion in the upcoming development plan.

The key to success is demonstrating that your site is a sustainable development. As a result of this, Plainview have produced a map showing the key development constraints (heritage, flood, agricultural land). If you own land that falls outside of the orange, blue or dotted highlighted areas on the map then there could be scope for an allocation.

If you would like an assessment of your chances of securing planning permission or local plan allocation we recommend that you send us your site details via our new Landmark service. Submission via this form is completely confidential. Once you submit we will give you a call to chat through potential options and to see how we can best help. There is no obligation to use our services.
