Plainview Planning have been providing planning consultancy and project management services on a new rural dwelling in Stroud, designed by the architect David Webb.
We have secured support from the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) and the parish council, who note:
“We believe that this application fulfils Para 55 of the NPPF because it is a truly innovative and unique building for our area, will help raise aspirations towards and help enhance standards of design in this rural area, and we appreciate the sensitivity of this design to the characteristics of the local area”
Assessment of design is a subjective matter, so we are thrilled that such a range of support has been forthcoming, not just from individuals but well respected organisations too.
