Proposed development of 50 dwellings in Gravesham

On behalf our client APNA, Plainview Planning have prepared a development scheme for up to 50 dwellings near Gravesham. We are providing planning consultancy, project management and urban design services.

Our Development Vision Document sets out the context of the site, opportunities and constraints and includes an indicative plan for development.

The total site is approximately 1.5 hectares and is available, achievable and deliverable in the short term for development.

The whole of the borough area, with the exception of a few larger towns, is designated Green Belt – an allocation which severely hinders applications for housing development. It is well established that Green Belt land plays a significantly important role in protecting countryside openness – however the borough is also currently facing a significant shortfall in housing land availability, over both the short and long term.

Our analysis and indicative design seeks to demonstrate that the development site is sustainable and sound.
