The site has been owned by Cotswold District Council (CDC) since 1978, who have decided to sell in order to invest the income in more carbon zero affordable housing for their residents.
The Cotswold Club is an attractive Grade II listed building which was originally used as a social club for employees of CDC before opening its membership to everyone after leasing it to trustees.
Following a review of the site’s planning history, context and relevant policy, we presented a number of potential planning options for the future use of the site to Watermoor Point and provided planning guidance to them during the acquisition process.
