Plainview Planning in 2014

2014 is nearly over and what a year it has been!

We are excited by the continued success of our planning team, who have submitted planning applications and appeals with 127 local authorities over the last 12 months with valuable permissions secured.

Our newly opened Essex office has made a great start, securing approval for 105 dwellings outside a settlement boundary in North Fambridge.  The team continue to work on regeneration projects at Burnham-on-Crouch and Leigh Industrial Estate.

Our Cheltenham office have been advising on the redevelopment of Pittville Campus at the University of Gloucestershire. The scheme aims to deliver 800 student apartments to Cheltenham.

Our Sussex team have been working hard on a 40,000m² regional distribution centre, plus important residential appeal wins for sites outside of settlement boundaries in Horsham and Bexhill.

Our London team continue to provide planning and enforcement advice across the capital. Notable projects include a proposed London City airport hotel and works to several Grade II properties in Chelsea, Westminster and Richmond-upon-Thames.

Meanwhile our comms team have kept our news and Twitter feeds running with their incisive articles, one of which generated particular interest on enforcement figures.  We also saw our MD Ian Woodward-Court advising Gloria Hunniford on BBC’s The One Show.

We were pleased to welcome two new members to the Plainview team, Andrew Ransome and Caroline Court.  We also celebrated the opening of our Chelmsford office in February and we are looking forward to starting 2015 in our new office at: Clarendon House, 42 Clarence Street, Cheltenham, GL50 3PL.

It has been a good year and here is to an even better 2015 – with our sincere thanks to all our clients for their continued support and we very much look forward to helping you achieve your planning goals next year.
