6th January 2021
Waverley Borough Council are seeking land for future residential and commercial development.
Appropriate sites may be allocated in the forthcoming “Local Plan Part 2: Site Allocations and Development Management Policies” document. If you secure an allocation it would make future planning applications far easier to secure planning permission for.
The deadline for representations is 11.59pm on Friday 29 January 2021.
We strongly recommend that landowners and developers put forward appropriate sites for consideration.
Waverley Borough Council will receive 1000s of sites and representations. It is important for your site to stand out to have a chance of success.
Our team at Plainview Planning are adept at presenting the opportunities of development sites in an engaging and persuasive way.
It is important that supporting arguments for development are grounded in evidence.
Plainview Planning have access to a wide range of geographic, economic and demographic datasets which can help hone the spatial argument as to why development in your location is the most appropriate. We also can use this data to rule out rival sites.
This is then displayed in a series of maps to make convincing spatial arguments. We are big believers in a picture painting a thousand words.
At Plainview Planning we also keep a very close eye on Waverley Borough Council appeal decisions. This can provide a useful insight in to how current local plan policies are interpreted. We can learn from others successes (and failures!).
