Commercial Units in Norfolk approved for development

fuel depot and commercial units planning

We’re on a roll….a second outline application for several commercial units alongside a fuel depot has been permitted by Breckland District Council in Norfolk.

Having successfully worked with our client on a neighbouring project we were instructed to assist on the second phase to help create a plan for some commercial units, in order to create over 500 sqm of flexible office, industrial and storage space.

As soon as the plans were submitted to the Council, we were pleased to receive some encouraging comments from the Breckland Business Support team, who were excited to see signs of economic development in Swaffham, as this would go some way to link to their aspiration and requirements to deliver more employment land and create more job opportunities in the region.

Although the site was in an established industrial estate, the site had been unused for over 10 years and in need of development.

Plainview were able to add value to the project by dealing with a variety of site specific issues, including; contamination, flood risk, environmental and highways, as well as building a policy based argument for the commercial application.
