The Plainview Planning team have recently submitted a planning application for an exciting development in London.
The project seeks the removal of several derelict outbuildings and the development of 4 x 3 bed dwellings in a unique setting in a secluded back-land location in Brent.
The proposals to create 4 x family dwellings on site, respond to an identified need for this type of housing in the borough. Furthermore, the site’s interesting location means that it feels quiet and secluded whilst still being centrally located and close to transport hubs. It is in a demonstrably sustainable location and ideally suited for family housing.
In terms of its shape, the site represents a number of challenges. In response to this, the architects at Carbon Creative have designed an innovative scheme that makes efficient use of a back-land location and responds well to its context. Developments such as this are vital to enable London to meet its burgeoning housing needs.
The application is currently being considered by the London Borough of Brent.
