We have been hard at work with Urban and Rural architects on an exciting scheme of 63 homes in Whitfield, Kent.

The proposal seeks to enhance and improve the existing public open space provision and provide a locally equipped play area.

The proposal will assist Dover District Council’s housing supply. The latest Housing Delivery Test results confirm that the council are under delivering on their identified housing need. Both the NPPG (Paragraph: 050 Reference ID: 68-050-20190722) and the Dover District Council Action Plan seek to support and encourage development of small and medium sites such as this one.

The gross density of the scheme is approximately 38dph. Whilst this falls just short of 40dph required of Local Plan policy CP4 we consider it appropriate given the edge of settlement location.
