Proposed redevelopment of 209-213 Wood Street

OVERVIEW
The proposed redevelopment of 209-213 Wood Street presents an exciting opportunity to regenerate a dilapidated and underused site into a vibrant and attractive residential-led development.
The current factory building is falling into disrepair and has been little used for many years. As a result, we are in the process of preparing proposals for the redevelopment of this site which will include:
- The replacement of the factory with 26 architect designed flats, by Architecture for London;
- And the creation of 132sqm of space for startup business and community uses on the ground floor.
The owner of the site is a local resident with strong ties to the area. As such, they are keen to see this dilapidated and underused site transformed, to help regenerate the surrounding area; provide more high-quality housing; and present opportunities for small businesses and community groups to flourish.
