As part of the preparation for the Chelmsford Local Plan, Chelmsford City Council is currently looking to explore areas of land for future development. They are inviting landowners, developers and members of the general public to put forward sites that they consider suitable for development. In particular, Chelmsford City Council is looking for strategic land that could be developed for housing and employment uses.
This call for sites consultation will run between 3rd November and 19th December 2014.
If you own or know of a site that could be developed for housing, it is important that you start promoting it now. This could be the first step towards securing a favourable planning solution and could significantly increase the value of your site.
At Plainview we work alongside landowners to maximise land value through the planning process and we offer a variety of services, from fixed fee arrangements through to promotional agreements.
If you feel that you may have land suitable for housing development in Chelmsford and would like expert advice on the best way to promote your site, please email your details to us at land@plainview.co.uk or speak to one of our planners on: 01245 201226.
