2018 is nearly over and what a year it has been for Plainview Planning. The team have been working on a wide range of projects including; urban and rural tourism schemes, strategic residential developments in Essex, changes of use and self-build projects. We also celebrated our 10-year anniversary as a company and with that in mind, we are delighted to be expanding our team once more with the arrival of our new Planner, Emily Penkett!
Emily joins us from a private practice in Gloucestershire where she worked as an assistant planner on residential and mixed-use sites, planning appeals, site appraisals for individual landowners and with the project team supporting leading house builders on strategic allocations.
Having recently successfully completed her MSc in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Birmingham, Emily is very interested in sustainable design and commercial and rural tourism schemes.
A great team player, Emily is already adding value to our householder and development projects. She is also looking forward to expanding her planning experience in the commercial, retail and rural tourism sectors, along with Paragraph 79e dwellings, and we look forward to supporting her in her professional aims.
In her free time, Emily is a keen sports enthusiast and enjoys going the extra mile by participating in marathons, playing squash and attempting to train her puppy George (who we can’t wait to meet!). We are delighted to welcome Emily into the Plainview Planning family and look forward to working with her on existing and new client projects.
