A new graduate planner joins the Plainview Team!

Graduate plannerJuly is nearly over already and what a year it has been for Plainview Planning! With several exciting new projects on the horizon including pub redevelopments, self-build projects and a Paragraph 55 dwelling, along with some interesting rural tourism schemes, we have expanded our team and we are delighted to welcome our second new team member of 2018 to our Cheltenham office!

Conor joined our planning team in July 2018 after completing his MSc in Urban Planning and his BA (Hons) in Geography at the University of the West of England.

Conor has a genuine passion for sustainable development and conservation and is looking forward to putting his learning into practice by applying his knowledge and keen eye for detail to our projects.

He is already adding value to the team by bringing his research skills to a range of schemes, such as change of use and reserved matters applications, as well as casting his eye over the new NPPF which came out this week. You can look forward to Conor’s analysis of the NPPF in an article soon!

Conor brings with him a superb set of research, presentation and report writing skills along with a wide-ranging knowledge of Worcestershire, Bristol and its surrounding areas.

When Conor isn’t busy being a planner, you can find him attending football matches, supporting the mighty Reading FC and playing ball with his dog, Buster. He also enjoys listening to podcasts and gaming.

We are delighted to have a new member of the team and to welcome Conor into the Plainview Planning family. We look forward to working with him on existing and new client projects and watching him go from strength to strength.
